[HARPER WEDDING]

Hello friends!

On April 6, 2019 I photographed the wedding of the amazing couple, Mr. and Mrs. Harper! Zane, the groom, is close friends with my best friend’s boyfriend, Carl, who was a groomsman in the wedding. I had hung out with Zane a few times and had heard some of the sweetest things about his now wife, Brittney! So when I met with Zane and Brittney at Heroes on Pine Street in Warrensburg to talk about their wedding I knew we were going to have a great time (uh food and beer…yes please)! I took their engagement photos in late October on their family land…and it was also a blast!

A little back-story…Brittney, Zane and I were supposed to meet on July 21, 2018, but Brittney’s dad had a brain aneurysm on July 19th, leading to his passing away on July 21st…and her grandma passed away on July 20th. Our consultation was moved to September 7th. Getting to know Zane and Brittney, their love story, hearing what they’ve worked through and seeing the way they love each other made my heart so happy.

Brittney spoke about her dad with so much love. I’m not going to lie, I did some Facebook creeping prior to meeting with Brittney and Zane. I looked through her photos and saw his kind eyes and the way he loved his daughter (and entire family). The wedding day was going to be emotional, but regardless, a wonderful day.

Fast forward to the wedding day: My second photographer aka extremely talented and kind friend Ashley (with AND Photos) saved my butt because my car wouldn’t start that morning. Ashley drove us to Centralia, MO for this bright and beautiful wedding day! The wedding was on the bride’s family farm which was seriously so special!

Zane and Brittney didn’t do a first look so the first time they saw each other was walking down the aisle, my favorite! The barn was filled with so many loved ones. Later, after family photos and wedding party photos it was PARTY time! Toasts were made by the maid of honor and best man and they both created lots of laughs and spoke with so much love about their best friends (the best man being Zane’s brother)! First dances, cake cutting, dollar dance and bouquet/garter toss were all so memorable. Also, the guests had some great dance moves!

Thank you, Zane and Brittney, for including me in your beautiful day! Cant’t wait to hang out again! ♥

P.S. The penny was from Brittney’s dad’s coin jar ♥ and check out the gif at the end! Haha!
